About Don Brennan

          Don Brennan began exploring holistic healing, in 1977, after he was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. He received his first training in energy healing in 1981. But it was in 1993, when he first learned Reiki, that he began to offer his healing to others. In 1995, he became a Reiki Master, in order to teach and to pass on the gift of Reiki in the Central New York State area. As a long-time advocate for Reiki, he was thrilled that a hospital fund paid him to teach 25 staff members at Crouse Hospital, to help bring ease and comfort to oncology patients. And in 2003, he helped to establish the Wellness Program at Hematology/Oncology Associates of Central New York.

Beyond the typical training for Reiki Masters, Don has received a great deal of additional training in Reiki techniques from many of the world's leading teachers and authors. He has been a registered Karuna Reiki® Master Teacher with the International Center for Reiki Training for over 13 years. Don teaches and practices Reiki, in the Syracuse, NY area, at Life Center for Well-Being. He also practices crystal healing, sound healing, Reiki drumming, guided meditation, and chakra balancing, along with other energy healing techniques, and is the author of many articles on Reiki.
